The Wedding Guest: Fun and Flirty

This next look is a fun purple and pink look. I would wear something this colourful if what I was wearing wasn't too bright. I would probably stay away from this look if I was wearing a purple outfit because I don't like matching my makeup to my clothes in such an obvious way.

I wasn't going to post this last picture because the lash band of my false lashes wasn't glued on properly and look really stupid but here it is any way:

The lashes I used were the Shu Uemura Focal lashes which I adore but I struggle to put on properly because the lash band is so thick and doesn't have much give to it. I guess that's what makes these lashes last longer but it's definitely annoying! The only benefit of such a thick, black lashband is that you can skip the liner on the top lashline because it makes your eye look like it's already been lined.

Anyway, here's what I used:
Dermablend Cover Creme in Warm Beige all over the eye from lid to brow bone
NYX French Fries Jumbo eye pencil all over the lid
MAC Tan pigment used on the first half of the lid
The 'exclusive' purple shade from the Too Faced Enchanted Glamourland palette used on the outer half on the lid
Sugarpill Poison Plum eye shadow used on the middle of the lid
Too Faced Glamazon eye shadow used as an inner corner highlight
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on eye pencil in Rockstar used on the waterline and lower lash line
Rimmel Sexy Curves Mascara used on top and bottom lashes
Shu Uemura black focal lashes

  1. This is so pretty!! I love purple, but I'm always afraid of wearing it out in public because I'm worried that I'll look silly. This look is gorgoeous, though. Would you consider making a tutorial? Pretty please!! :)

  2. Thank you so much!

I always used to be scared of wearing purple too but I took baby steps and just started wearing it on my bottom lashline with neutral colours on the lid and now I can wear it all over the lid without feeling self conscious.

Give it a go - it's one of those colours that looks great on everyone!

I haven't really done a proper tutorial yet but I'll give it a go :)
